Since its inception in 1996 the aim of the The Crop Circular has been to disseminate information – free of charge – so that the public would better understand the workings of the most important phenomenon in our time. This information has not come cheaply. Each flight over the circles can cost up to $170 per hour; gas in the UK now runs at $7.75 a gallon, and thousands of miles are covered each season in order to bring you information right from the heart of each important event.

Those who know me well already know how I have resisted all attempts at making this a 'pay-per-view' site, which some others have been doing for years; I have even resisted the use of advertising on the site. Personally, my research over the past decade has never been supported by grants, wealthy donors, corporations, or sponsors. The money has come from selling my home and carefully spending a lifetime of accumulated savings. In one sense it has given me the freedom to speak my truth and report what I have experienced, free from censorship; on the other hand it has now limited my ability to maintain a living.

With the past six years taking their financial toll, the time has come to write this little piece and ask the Universe for a little assistance. Besides, if you never ask you never receive!
